• Sable hair brushes are extremely soft and fine, which allows them to lay down epoxy smoothly without streaks, bubbles, or brush marks. This results in a glossy, professional-grade finish over your thread wraps.

Minimizes Air Bubbles

• Synthetic or stiff-bristle brushes can introduce or trap tiny air bubbles in the finish. Natural sable hair brushes apply epoxy more gently, which helps reduce or eliminate bubbles, especially on the first coat.

Less Shedding

• High-quality sable brushes shed less than cheaper synthetic brushes, so you're not fishing bristles out of your finish. This is critical—once a bristle is stuck in epoxy, it's tough to remove cleanly.

Reusable (With Proper Cleaning)

• Sable brushes can be cleaned and reused multiple times with methylated spirits as long as you clean them before the epoxy cures. This makes them more cost-effective over time compared to disposables.
